The Vice-Chancellor's visit to the SouthEast can be termed as historic as it was his first time of visiting the Study Centre in Owerri, Imo state, since he assumed office.
The acting director of the centre, Dr. Mrs Ettu Theresa, expressed her profound gratitude for the VC's visit to the centre. The VC in turn expressed his commitment to better the fortunes of the study centre.
He also visited NIIT, where the e-exams were on going. He assesed and monitored the exam as it went on smoothly. The Staff and students applauded his visit and he assured the law students that NOUN Management would continue with the battle regarding Law school and NYSC.
He also made a courtesy call on the Vice-Chancellor of Imo State University, Prof. Victoria Adaobi Obasi, who gave him a warm welcome. Both shared ideas regarding ways of moving the universities forward.
NOUN VC told her that they would be using PhD lecturers from her institution for facilitation and supervision because of its proximity to Owerri study centre.
